Software
Industry-standard software for live performance. Used in our core curriculum modules. Free Lite version available; Pro license recommended.
Pioneer DJ's analysis and performance software. Essential for CDJ workflows. Free tier available for library management and export.
Used in advanced modules for production elements, loop creation, and live hybrid sets. Intro edition sufficient for course requirements.
Equipment
You do not need to own equipment to enroll — our facility provides everything during lab hours. However, students who wish to practice at home may consider the following entry-level options.
Studio
Enrolled students may book practice time in our studio during open lab hours. Sessions are 2 hours maximum and subject to availability. Book through the Student Portal or in person.
Recording time for capstone mixes and portfolio work is scheduled through your instructor. Priority booking is given to students in Modules 11–12.
